This World is Not Exactly my Home
2013
Oil on Canvas

This world is “not exactly my home.”  As a Christian artist, my perspective is seeing this world as a temporary dwelling place.  This is what I have in common with the homeless in this community.  I was asked, is the cross necessary?  Absolutely, to some it may represent shame and suffering, which it does, but to me it represents hope, forgiveness, and a new life. We are all in transition, or at some kind at crossroads, and the choices we make now determine our collective futures.
